turnline

Electrical · In discovery

Capture the work while keeping safety-sensitive judgment with qualified people.

Turnline is being built to help electrical teams answer overflow calls, collect the customer and property context, separate routine requests from configured safety escalations, and avoid unsupported troubleshooting or availability claims.

An everyday call Electrical
“We’d like a ceiling fan installed. Can someone give us an estimate?”
Details to collect
Location, requested work, property type, callback number.
Proposed next step
Route the estimate request to the right person without quoting unapproved work.

Illustrative workflow. Questions and actions need business approval before live use.

The work behind the call

A useful electrical intake flow knows when to stop asking questions.

Callers may report outlets, breakers, panels, lighting, power loss, inspections, or symptoms that require immediate professional judgment.

Turnline should follow the contractor’s approved questions and escalation language—not diagnose hazards, instruct electrical work, or imply that a technician is already dispatched.

Your rules come first

The details a useful receptionist must get right.

These are starting points for discovery. Your team approves the questions, actions, and exceptions before live use.

Coverage

Match the caller’s location to exact residential or commercial service boundaries.

Work category

Capture the reported issue and property context without converting symptoms into a diagnosis.

Safety escalation

Stop routine intake when configured safety signals or an explicit human request require escalation.

Scheduling limits

Request only eligible visit types and never promise arrival or restoration times.

What we would measure

A useful call has a clear next step.

Before a pilot begins, we would agree on a baseline and what a successful outcome looks like for your team.

  • Electrician-ready intakeLocation, issue, urgency, and customer details arrive in a consistent format.
  • Safe handoffConfigured safety-sensitive situations reach a qualified person without delay.
  • Approved service requestSupported work inside the service area enters the correct scheduling flow.
  • Measured recoveryThe team can connect captured calls with accepted visits and completed work.

A few things to know

Questions about this workflow

Does Turnline provide electrical troubleshooting?

No. It follows approved intake and escalation rules. Technical diagnosis and safety advice remain with qualified professionals and emergency services where appropriate.

Can commercial and residential calls use different rules?

That is the intended direction. Property type, service catalog, hours, and escalation policy can be represented as explicit operator-approved rules.

Will it promise an electrician’s arrival time?

No. A time is offered or confirmed only when a verified scheduling integration and the contractor’s rules authorize it.
